You are so genuine, Amy. On my best days writing, I don’t care if anyone else reads it. When I see the likes, reposts, follows, and comments from my posts, I get the strength to keep going on the days that aren’t my best. Thanks for sharing your experience and creativity.

You’ve always been an exceptional writer but I empathize with how hard it is when you’re putting material out seemingly into the cold abyss over and over. You deserve all the accolades and all the recognition. Continued congratulations on the success you’re seeing here on substack.

Amy, as you know writing is a tough business as do I, but I write just to express myself and have never cared that much about who reads me - probably because I’m getting old. :) But, from the time I was a kid always running behind I learned that perseverance pays off, even though it sometimes feel like it never will. Blackhawk Up! Congrats! Keep writing!

Oh, you hit the nail on the head with this. Though my trajectory is not and likely will not be like yours, I also feel marooned. And yet, there are a precious few souls who like what I write and the music I make. And that may be enough. I am very grateful for them.

I too feel grateful for the like 28 people who have regularly been reading my material for years. It is enough. And I too am grateful to those people because without them it’s hard to keep writing and creating. We all need to be seen if only by a few like-minded people. I see you Beth Anderson.

Ha ha….when I saw the name Dennis, I almost thought you might have been talking about me! But then I realized I didn’t drop off lumber for your retaining wall. I just complimented your writing and offered advice on retaining ammunition! So, another bit of confetti to encourage you further! Keep it up!

lol thanks Dennis and maybe I’ll write a piece about all the Dennises. And the ammo advice is appreciated as well.
